Touch A Truck for Harvesters Community Food Network!

Come by the Overland Park Convention Center on Sunday, August 21st for this year’s Touch-A-Truck Event!Touch_a_truck

The event starts at 11:00AM, and the whole family will have a chance to get behind the wheel of more than 40 giant trucks and large vehicles. Including fire trucks, combine harvesters, unusual trucks and military vehicles! In addition to that, there will also be a verity of activities for the family, including a bouncy house and kids crafting area.

Bring a new, unwrapped toy for the Marine’s Toys for Tots program, and admission is Free! Parking for the event is also free.

Lutz Plumbing will be there with one of our service trucks for the kids to climb on, and we will have an activities table setup with coloring pages, a TV playing cartoons, give-aways, and information on our company. Make sure you stop by to say hi!

A traditional flag raising and salute by local Marines will take place before doors open.

Last year’s Touch-A-Truck was a huge success, bringing in over 9,500 attendees. The event made a huge impact on our community in need, generating 14,166 pounds of non-perishable food and raising $562.06. This provided an amazing total of 13,491 meals raised for Harvesters – The Community Food Network.
